OSX/MaControlA is a Remote Access Trojan (RAT)/Backdoor originally spread through exploitation similar to OSX/Flashback. Later variants were spread through a targeted email campaign. Capabilities include sending/receiving files, collecting information from the infected computer, and executing, forking, and ending processes [1].
